Osaka short trips

Osaka International House will hold an event "Osaka short trips" on the 7th and the 8th of November.

There are 5 courses, 1 to 4 are just a tour of Osaka area but　5th one is pretty unique.
You can try Japanese sport festival!

Japanese sport festival seems interesting for foreigners so they will have for  foreigners!

Q-pot×Sailor Moon

Have you watched Sailor Moon?
I used to watch Sailor Moon alot when I was a little girl!
I loved it ,I got many goods of them.

Sailor Moon is getting popular again lately!
We have accessory shop which is called  Q-pot in Lucua Osaka.
Sailor Moon and Q-pot made some goods and accessories together!!!

Syoryoe (Memorial Service for Prince Shotoku)

This event commemorates for Prince Shotoku who had this important temple build in sixth century.
You can see classical Japanese performance bugaku dance.

Halloween event at Hirakata park

Halloween is coming, we didn't do anything for Halloween before, but it's changing now.
Many people wear costume and have a party or just hang out and take pictures!

If you wanna see a lot of people in costume in Osaka, you should go to Dotonbori!!!
Must be really really fun!

The event I want to introduce is good for family.
It's in Hirakata park.

There are many giant pumpkins!

You can make jack o'lanter, wear costumes!

TRAIN×ART

A “Wrapped Train" was born on June 1, 2014 and runs in Osaka Loop Line.
Each car was designed by 8 artists with different theme related to Osaka.

I took this train by chance it was pretty colorful and make people happy!

Maid cafe

I went to a maid cafe in Namba (Denden town) with my best friend's boyfriend who is from Chicago!
It's called "Apple Magic" they just opened in April.

Their specialty is magic and dance,they have a stage and they will show us the magic and dancing show, it starts 5pm,6om,7pm untill they close, takes 20 minutes.

We can't take pictures of maids so I can't upload pictures, too bad:(
We did enjoy a lot!  I was impressed about maids working so hard, magic, dance, talikg with some customers.

Osaka castle 3D super illumination

We have an amazing illumination in a park next to Osaka castle in this winter!
It's 3D illumination, I can't imagine how wonderful!

Place: Osaka Nishinomaru park

The place is not in Osaka castle, it's in the park ext  to Osaka castle!
There are 3 spots you can see illumination.

It must be beautiful, don't miss it!

Osaka Aquarium =Illumination=

The big illumination event will be held at Osaka Aquarium (Kaiyukan)
from the 22nd of November to the 2nd of March, 2014!!

This is their 9th year since they started doing the illumination.
And it will be the biggest one ever they have with one million lights!!

On their wall, you will see the Blue Whale -the biggest animal on the planet.
It looks stunning...

The event wasn't out,
but I went there with my colleague Bobo & Anne last week!

It was Bobo's first time and she was excited!!
This is the replica of a great white shark.
So scary..!!

We encountered the feeding time for sea otter.
The aquarium keepers are really nice, they throw their food toward where we stand, so we could see them really closer.

My favourite animal, sea turtle.
He looks like flying in the water. calm and beautiful.

Floating Garden Observatory

We call it Sky building.
It's one of the sight seeing places in Osaka, go up to the 40th floor and see a nice view of Osaka, sweet dating spot for couples!

Meet the SMILE

It's been 2 years since Osaka station have been renewed!
We are holding one event right now which is "Meet the SMILE OSAKA STATION CITY 2nd ANNIVERSARY".

The main event is 3D trick arts!
I am actually a big fan of trick arts!
This is the 5th floor of Osaka station city.

This is a step art which is stairs from the 3rd to the 5th floor.

This event is untill the 9th of June.
It's gonne be a nice picture spots!!!

Night club OWL

I want to introduce one night club in Osaka which is I want to go at some point!
It's in Osaka, Umeda, pretty close to HEP FIVE and it's called OWL.
                                
It's close to Umeda sation as well so easy to access.
They have some events every night from Monday to Sunday, buｔ I can say Friday and Saturday should be fun and many people!

I haven't been yet, but the day I am interested in is the 3rd week of Friday aｎd the 4th week of Saturday.
It's ALL MIX and TOP40! sounds awesome! right?

It's pretty good deal before 9pm especially girls! yay!
On weekday it's free before 9pm (600yen for 1 drink though)and Friday and Saturday girls are free before 9pm and boys are 1000 yen with 1 drink!

They close at 1 midnight so you have to go to another club in Shinsaibashi or Namba which  sucks but the thing is if they close early it means they are packed and good music even like 9pm!

A owner of one guesthouse, KaminoRo, organizes Sake tasting event which is called Sakenoro!
The ower has a license of Sake tasting and he wants to show Sake culture, how to make Sake, and history.

I went to see A DREAM WITH  IN DREAM on the 14th of July.

Actually I am a big fan of  Shiki Theatrical Company!
I watched CATS first time when I was a high school student an I felt OMG they are totally cats!
The way they move was CATS. I like songs and dance!

I also have watched MAMMA MIA! It was the story of a mom and a daughter. I was touched and laughed! It is my favorite.
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

A DREAM WITH  IN DREAM　is the story about Piko, an adventurous girl, is guided into the haunted house there by a mysterious man, who calls himself Dream Deliverer. There, Piko meets Mako, a girl who was dead because of a traffic accident. Piko decided to let Mako return to the human world to see her mom and go to spiritual world instead of Mako.
They talked about the death like war,bullying so it was pretty real story.
But it was fun and I was touched.

I would like to watch beauty and beast at some point!
