Tenjin Matsuri Festival

 

This festival is the greatest in Osaka boasting of a history of a thousand years. On the morning of the 24th, it starts with the Hokonagashi Ritual (Throwing the sacred sword) by Hokonagashi Bridge. Shishi-Mai (Lion Dance) and Mikoshi (Portable shrine) go around the territory of the shrine. In the Hommiya (Main day) on the 25th, the Rikutogyo starts from the shrine at about 15:30, and finishes in the shrine again through the Funatogyo. The festival reaches a climax during that passage. A large number of torch-lit boats cruising the river and the fireworks are splendidly displayed.

CRAFT BEER LIVE　2016

23 Breweries from the six prefectures of Kansai will be coming together for CRAFT BEER LIVE 2016, the place is just 8min by walk from Osaka Hana Hostel : )
 
This event is a chance for brewers to showcase approximately 100 beers to local residents in the Kansai area(Osaka, Kyoto, Wakayama, Nara, Hyogo and Shiga)

It's very rare for brewers to have the chance to serve their own beers, this event offers the chance for patrons to hear the voices of beer makers as they enjoy their drinks in an actual "live" situation, because people are encouraged to talk and learn about beer, the event it self is not only for craft beer lovers, but also for those new to craft beer to enjoy as well!

CRAFT BEER LIVE also has the support of a number of local craft beer shops and restaurants, they will be providing the cuisine at the event to match the beers.

There will be a variety of live music and performances in addition.
As the weather will be heating up with the onset of early summer, it's a great time to enjoy a cold one outside!

Minoh Kawayuka (Outdoor riverside dining)

 Walking approximately 2-kilometer takimichi trail along the Minoh River from Hankyu Minoh station, you will pass by the shops selling traditional Minoh Sweet "Momiji Tempura (fried maple leaves)", souvenir shop selling original Yuzu(aromatic citron), bright green leaves path and in 10 to 15 minutes you will arrive in the minoh feature "Minoh Kawayuka" where you can have a lunch and a dinner beside the Minoh River hearing the murmur.

IMAZATO MARCHE YOKOCHO!!!

This is  maltinational 'Yatai'(stalls in Japanese) in *Imazato(from Shinsaibashi ,at first please go to Namba station and then take subway Sennichimae line to Imazato subway station)

Imasato Marche Yokocho has opened recently.

However there are always crowded and bustle.

In there you can enjoy every thing as I mentioned above!

First of all, you can get a taste of the Original Japanese foods such as Okonomiyaki,Takoyaki,Yakisoba,Teppanyaki,Yakitori and Oden.

In addition, you can enjoy Nepal foods ,Korean foods and USA stake!!!!!:)

Mt. Inunaki Releasing of Trout festival

 

 

One of the seasonal traditions of Sensyu area is spring greenery festival. About 80kg of fish trout will be released into the river at upper stream of the Inunaki Bridge.
Please enjoy fishing. (Held early April every year.)

*Please bring your own fishing rod and other related tools to fish.
*Cancelled in the event of rain or the rise of a river flooding.

Every year in March, the streets of Denden Town are closed to traffic to make room for one of the biggest anime-themed events in Kansai !!

The Nipponbashi Street Festa is a colorful festival featuring cosplayers in elaborate attire, robot performances, live music and much more.

This popular event is a must for anybody interested in seeing the ultimate in Japanese pop culture.

The cosplayers are more than happy to pose for photos, so don't be afraid to take your camera.

Plum blossom at Osaka Castle

Some 1250 plum trees representing 95 varieties stand in one of the largest gardens of its kind in Osaka The trees usually begin flowering early from the end of January and are trimmed into short, wide shapes so that visitors can enjoy them easily without casting their eyes up.

 

 

 Plum is also beautiful and has more color comparing than Cherry blossom.
