Nice place for a break at Umeda

If you are in Umeda around Osaka Station (the busiest area in Osaka) and wondering where you can have a short break by yourself or feel like having a picnic with your friends...

I definitely recommend you one of my favorite place in Osaka.

It's called Kaze-no-hiroba Plaza (means Plaza of Wind).

It is located on the 11th floor of North building of Osaka Station City.
You can get there from JR Osaka Station by the escalator,
or from the 10F of ISETAN department store or LUCUA.

On the top of the building, there are small gardens and some benches you can sit and relax.

I called this place "the Oasis in Umeda".

The reason why I like this place so much is you can sit there for free with a nice view of north side of Osaka city.

As the name of this place (Plaza of Wind), the wind feel great.

Freezing in winter, but it is good season to be here.

And the BEST thing is ....

you can buy your food and drink at the convenience store (Family Mart) on the same floor and have a picnic!!

How convenient and the reasonable choice!

There is Seattle's Best coffee shop as well on the same floor

I often go there by myself and sometime bring my friends to this place when we want to have a coffee (and sometime beer..:-)

They were impressed that there is a nice place like this in the center of Umeda area.

It used be less people 2years ago, but it becomes quite popular.

Some people is having a coffee, eating lunch, chatting with friends, reading books and so on.

During lunch time, it's hard to find a place to sit... but it is still my favorite place♪

You can see the guests from all of ages.

Meet the SMILE

It's been 2 years since Osaka station have been renewed!
We are holding one event right now which is "Meet the SMILE OSAKA STATION CITY 2nd ANNIVERSARY".

The main event is 3D trick arts!
I am actually a big fan of trick arts!
This is the 5th floor of Osaka station city.

This is a step art which is stairs from the 3rd to the 5th floor.

This event is untill the 9th of June.
It's gonne be a nice picture spots!!!

Game bar

There is a game bar in the center of America-mura, Shinsaibashi.
You can try many kinds of games like Wii u for latest one and Famicon for old one and much more.
It's NO charge for it and 500yen for a drink. It's awesome!!

There are many gamers come to the bar and enjoy playing games.

You also can try American games as well.

Rose Garden at Nakanoshima Park

the most blooming season!

Over the approximately 13,000 square meters in the center of the park, about 310 rose varieties, the 3700 strain has been planted and come into full bloom.

It is renewed in 2009, you can see the breed English Rose,
French Rose such a lot in addition to the modern Rose.

The place where you can see cherry blossoms

Hi there,

Have you seen cherry blossoms this year?

I was going to Kyoto to see them last weekend but I couldn't make it because it was bad weather.

I guess many people were in the same situation.



If you missed seeing the cherry blossoms, you can go to Japan Mint in Osaka.


You still can see several kinds of cherry blossoms.
It's opened from 16th to 22nd this month.

Night club OWL

I want to introduce one night club in Osaka which is I want to go at some point!
It's in Osaka, Umeda, pretty close to HEP FIVE and it's called OWL.
                                
It's close to Umeda sation as well so easy to access.
They have some events every night from Monday to Sunday, buｔ I can say Friday and Saturday should be fun and many people!

I haven't been yet, but the day I am interested in is the 3rd week of Friday aｎd the 4th week of Saturday.
It's ALL MIX and TOP40! sounds awesome! right?

It's pretty good deal before 9pm especially girls! yay!
On weekday it's free before 9pm (600yen for 1 drink though)and Friday and Saturday girls are free before 9pm and boys are 1000 yen with 1 drink!

They close at 1 midnight so you have to go to another club in Shinsaibashi or Namba which  sucks but the thing is if they close early it means they are packed and good music even like 9pm!
